It IS easy being green…and we’ve done our best to be so in an industry notorious for being hard on the environment.   So, as a responsible consumer and steward of the planet you may probably want to know what we are doing as a remodeling company to do our part.

1. First and foremost, we are a remodeling company and believe that it is better to improve and renew existing structures than it is to add to deplete rural lands and build new.

2. Recycling.  We do a lot of it.  Remodeling and construction create a lot of debris.  Thankfully, the majority of it can and does get source-separated and recycled.  

3. Reuse.  Some materials that come out of a remodeling project can be reused on site, or by someone else.  Which is why we will donate usable materials from your project to the Rebuilding Center or the Habitat for Humanity Restore in your name allowing you a tax deduction at the end of the year.

4. Local. We strive to use smaller, locally owned suppliers and subcontractors.  We believe that a strong local economy is key to improving neighborhoods and building community.  We’re a small local company and prefer to give our business to the same.  

5.  Spaces for living, Craftsmanship for Life. If a remodel is designed with current and anticipated needs of the homeowners in mind and constructed using proven, quality materials and methods then it will surely stand the test of time.  Poor design, workmanship and materials will only guarantee a short life-span.
